Yep, her baby had six fingers on one hand. In retrospect, since it was NOT a real-time journal, they probably intended her statements about babies with defects to be "foreshadowing" or something, but it really made people mad. And that particular journal entry *did* sound very callous.
Her bfing was also an issue (she said she just didn't feel like it, though again, she actually ended up doing so for 11 mos), but it was a post-abortion-comment issue....in other words, after she'd spent all her goodwill. Plus, she was saying this stuff along with comments about needing to be pampered, get her nails done, that kind of thing....stuff that often doesn't go over well with other moms, kwim?
But, bottom line, I think it was her comments about termination that started the fire. And there were some REALLY freaky people who frequented the comments section and eventually formed a board of their own, but that was kind of a sideshow.
It was the last BC journal, though, LOL.
