Well, that's good to know! Unfortunately, that's not the case with other Christian pro-life movements. I have had a couple of RC friends say that they personally feel when a woman has an abortion and goes through emotional turmoil or whatever, that that's what they deserved. But, I've never really been to a Catholic church and wouldn't be an a position to judge the official stance. However, among other more conservative denominations, I do know that the preached position is pretty brutal.

It's funny, being pregnant actually made me a twinge less pro-choice. I think it was my 9-week sonogram (7-week embryo) that did that. When I could see eyes, mouth, fingers, toes, and heartbeat, I suddenly felt overwhelmed with the "realization" that I had a life inside me. On the other hand, I also felt like pregnancy was hell so I continued my choice stance.
