Subject: Does anyone want to talk about money?

I was struck in the latest community phone bridge by the division in our community around the issue of money, what is appropriate for teachers and mentors to do in relating to the larger community around money matters, etc.

I knew already that this issue was hot, but it had not found a venue of expression.

It's my sense that we really need to get some stuff on the table about all this.

Although I didn't say so on that call, most of you probably know that I am one of the folks who are working with Saniel in the Amazon Herb business.

For me, it is a yoga. A method for getting into a territory that is fraught with confusion and darkness and self-splits, a territory that has proven to be unyielding of its secrets and contours and hidden treasures until just now, with this approach.

My exploration via network marketing has allowed me to enter that territory, and has triggered a whole new and very fruitful stage of my shakedown.

I acknowledge that for many people this is a hot button, the idea of spiritual teachers involving their students in such endeavors, and I acknowledge that there are good reasons for those reactions. At the same time, I think that much is still hidden in our collective shadow around this stuff, eating away at us.

Anyone up for taking a collective tour of the spirit/money minefield?

(FWIW, I don't consider that I at all fully understand these matters, and I have many unformed opinions and working hypotheses that would really benefit from some open discussion here.)
