i'm sorry Kiley, i don't know how you can get recognized other than this: make your music your craft... so much so that you become good at it... music is infectious all by itself. it takes such dedication... but it's more than that. it takes talent and the willingness to be a starving artist. you have to believe in yourselves and have reason to.

once you are good. they come to you. the point i was making on "life outside the box (T.V. Free)" was that it's important that you want recognition for the right reasons
-- not any reason at all. some kids want recognition so bad they are willing to get it for murdering their classmates. it doesn't matter if they are famous for a good thing or a bad thing. only that they are famous.

i'm glad you have something positive to seek your fame and fortune with. i hope some day i hear you on the radio! music is much more important than some people realize. it can build the structure of society if your message is potent enough. if you are writing the music, i would encourage you to write about issues that are current and poignant. i think this could help you. music is even more than that. it is what soothes the soul and there are plenty of things in this world that make the soul need it-- desperately.
