i care. i'm keeping count. i'm not doing this to join a cult. i chose to be t.v. free on my own, then found people like me out of self-defense. i'm doing this because i am concerned about my brain-space, and my life. when i experience love or sadness, i want it to be about MY LIFE, not some electrodes displayed in patterns upon a screen organized by someone whose values i find suspect.

i ask, not because i am soliciting a barrage of hellfire and damnation for even considering watching something, but to hear (read) the pros and cons respectful to the harms and goodness of doing so, from people whose value of viewing is highly respected by me--because they share similar concerns.

oh, i do agree, i shouldn't allow another person's opinion to bully me into my choices. trust me. i don't.
