Hi Rev Joe! Of course I don't "mind" you joining the thread!! And I agree completely with what that priest said -- so many folks don't like themselves enough to want to spend time with them -- sad, I think! I was at the state disability office yesterday trying to get some help and my new caseworker seemed a little hyper and distracted. Then I noticed her desk: she was eating dry sugared cereal, drinking coffee and two Diet Pepsis, smoking (outside of course, but being over due for a smoke certainly wasn't helping her concentration any :)), listening to really discordent music on her office radio and repeating "now where were we?" LOL! Told her about not having a TV and she said that she was used to four children in the house and now that they were gone she kept the TV on "for noise", otherwise, in the silence, she couldn't concentrate on what she's doing. Oh, sigh. I wanted to nominate her for Poster Child of something, but couldn't narrow the field down! LOL! She however is a very sweet person and together we waded through the stack of paperwork.
