i need you guys! all of you!

it was the isolation that comes of being a non-t.v. person that drove me to the internet to search for others like me. i'm not a big "net" surfer, so after a while i forgot ...i realized when i came back to this website that it was part of what i really needed to maintain my sanity in the t.v. free world. it's hard to live with the isolation that i choose, because i'm such a social animal. still... the alternative would be such a facade that i couldn't bear the dishonesty of it. to me, it seems, that t.v. is a sponge that mops up the emotions that we are supposed to use for our own lives. wasting our love, and our joy and our sorrow and our anger on something that isn't even alive, and can't reciprocate feels somehow contrary to the purpose of life. (which i can't even expound on...)
