Subject: "Yeah, I'll be back in like an hour... If you're not done yet, I'll just wait out here." He promised her an uncharacteristically kind smile and then leaned down to press a warm, lingered kiss to her lips before shooing her on her way. "Go, Em. Get yourself all set up and settled, and don't worry about talking too much, or being too cute. You look great, you'll sound great, and you'll charm the pants off them..." He paused at that and laughed a little. "Figuratively, of course, 'cause I know you don't want to be charming the pants off anyone for real.."

  • "I don't doubt it." He assured her with a small smile and a wink, then nodded, and watched as his 'project' headed off. Once she disappeared, he ducked back in to his car and sped off somewhere to get some lunch and waste some time while she was in there. He was back though by the time she made her way in to the lobby, and was chatting with the young'ish receptionist - well, actually, she was chatting at him about her children - but looked back and excused himself when he saw her, a brow cocking questioningly.
