Subject: Seeking entrepreneurial advice

Hi. I'm writing on behalf of my mother who's a lifelong equine enthusiast. She currently manages a stable (in Tucson, Arizona) but is looking for ideas for a lucrative start-up enterprise centered around horses (the stable fees barely cover upkeep--I'm sure many of you can relate). Her principal assets are space (10 acres), knowledge of horses, and zeal. My parents are divorcing, and my mother, who has worked sporadically as a special ed teacher, is keen to find a way to support herself that's horse-related (preferably). Can anyone recommend an idea or two? Even some avenues for investigation would be dearly appreciated. I know precious little about the horse industry, so I'm not in much of a position to advise her. Thanks for any counsel you can offer.
