Take it from me a fellow 12 yearold when I first fell off (under a year ago) I became scared of my horse. He's a beatutiful bay 16.2 hh throughbred, unfortunatly he had a bucking fit. I had to gain my confidence back before I jumped into riding him full again. He's a beautiful dressage horse so there was no use selling him. If your nervous take it a step at a time, get on walk-trot and if you feel confident canter. If you can put on a westren saddle, and take comfort from the extra leather. If you jump make sure to keep jumping! It'll build your confidence. You can always try "team-building" Activities with your horse.

-hope this helps if you have anymore questions about you can email me.
