Compelled to share his bit with this new pack of his, Railen inched forward slightly. His pale yellow eyes took in each wolf as he slowly cleared his throat.

"Well, as a pup my mother always told me, 'Never underestimate how fast your prey can run'. It seems that is how we should look at things now, 'Never underestimate how fast your enemy can act'. All things considered, sir," Railen said with a respectful nod towards Sarquint, "I think we assume, for our own safety, that these Deathmakers are headed for us this very moment. So action should be taken quickly." His gray ears lowered somewhat, unaccustomed to talking in front of others.

"Although I know none of you very well, I find a deep sort of...reassurance in you sir," Railen said, again nodding towards Sarquint, "and would be honored to have you as Alpha of our new pack."
