It amuses him to no end that one of the darkest darkwolves he remembered in the old clans was becoming alpha of the 'new Killers'. The old, set-in-its-ways half of his brain argues with the rational half. What if he's a spy of some sort? No, he couldn't be. He seems to have changed... But if he didn't, having him as alpha is a huge mistake. But it isn't like he didn't take care of Small and Windchaser when I was... busy. And he certainly seems nice enough now, doesn't he? But still... "I'd be happy to see Sarquint and Sunflash as alphas. If not for the previous experience and battle expertise, then for the proven leadership skills..."
