 The minute rustle of brush, as if touched by a wayward breeze, is the only sign of the passage of some largish creature. Near-inaudible pawsteps slow and then stop, and two dark amber eyes gaze through the bushes at the gathered wolves, sparkling with a constant strange amusement.
