Date Posted: 20:13:31 07/01/02 Mon It was the slow rustling of a very deliberate beast in the bushes nearby that brought the newest arrival. Pointed gray ears, the tips black, shone briefly in a patch of sunlight before vanishing below the cover of another bush again. Finally the lone wolf stepped from his hiding place and into the clearing already crowded with many others. Fur of gray with a thin coat of brown and black gleamed brightly as the wolf moved into the sunlight, his pale yellow eyes staring curiously at the others. The shiny silver furs that intermixed with the white ones along his muzzle marked him as older of age, but not elderly. His chest was heaving slightly as if he had run a great distance in a short period of time. Taking a step forward, the stranger shook his head perplexed sort of fashion. "I am afraid I know none of you, how is it that I was called? For I know it was from here that the voice came." [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
