On a road called timeline,
At the bottom of the page,
A kid will find a thing called love...

He never noticed her smile,
Till she smiled at some one else.
He found it worth while,
To find out how she felt.

Is this called love?
Or is love for grown ups?
Is this called love?
Or is love for adults?

40 miles from today
He forgot her name
He looks at his lunch
And he feels the same

His wife made him a sandwhich
And pealed off the crust
Wishes he could remember love
Or at least forget this lust

Is this called love?
or is love for the kids?
Is this called love?
Or is love what we did?

And his son has his
mail mens eyes
looks at his pop
Asks where love lies

Dad almost cried
Balled his hand into a fist
Looked at his son
and said "love don't exsist"
