i sit in the quiet
relfecting on the days,
the days that so quickly passed away.
the days that weren't lived.
the days that weren't experience,
b/c i sat waiting for you.
i never knew,
i had no clue
as to what was going on.
i never knew your pain
i never knew your hurt
because you shut me out
of the life that i was once apart of.
you chose drugs over me
and you let them
wipe away your tears
and kiss away your fears
as i sat in my room, waiting my life away
for you
who didn't even realize i cared.
