Subject: Tough trivia: Scott quiz!

To help fill the time while waiting for new episodes of "Enterprise" (blasphemy *g*!!) I posted the following 'questionnaire' at this site:

but then figured that some of you might want the chance to answer as well. I'll post the answers by the end of the upcoming weekend. Good luck!

1. How many times has Scott 'done' Elvis? Please elaborate.

2. Scott, Bernadette Peters and Angela Lansbury have shared a stage 3 times (performing together twice). Can you name them all (the third is a bit tricky)?

3. What famous TV show did Scott audition for in the mid 80s and what gimmick did he use to enter the room?

4. Re: 3 Guys Naked From the Waist Down,
a) Which role did he originally audition for?
b) What did he wear to the audition?
c) What prop(s) did he bring with him?

5. Which play did Scott consider his 'waiter' job?

6. What TV show did Scott first appear on and what was his character's name?

7. Can you name all the times Scott has played the piano on TV? Guitar? Give it a shot!

8. Most of us know that Scott met Krista during the run of 'Baker's Wife'. What show did they next do together?

9. Soon after the run of QL, what hit Broadway show (first opening in LA before it landed in NY) did Scott audition for and get rejected (foolish people )? Hint: NOT 'Music Man'!

10. Name two gifts the cast/crew of QL gave him.

11. Name three nicknames Scott had as a child.

12. Why did Scott give up playing football as a high school freshman? What other sports (name at least three) did he end up playing varsity?

13. Scott left Kansas U. to join the national tour of which show (although it ultimately fell through)? Extra credit: under whose auspices did he get to do a revival of the show in NY?

14. When things are tough, most actors have a fall back job out of the business to earn some money. Scott never needed one (see #5). However, he did have two jobs out of show business before he landed in NY. Can you name them?

15. Scott fractured his foot while filming QL.

17. Scott only rarely guest starred on anyone else's TV show. Can you name two times when he did (not counting Murphy Brown)?

19. Scott and Jay (J.D. Schwartz, his publicist) go way back. When did they meet/what was Scott doing at the time?

20. Scott is well known for bringing people from one project to another e.g. Pat Richardson appeared in both 'Eisenhower & Lutz' and 'QL'. How many different people/projects can you name where that's happened? OR....name as many professionals as you can that have worked with Scott on at least two different occasions.
