Subject: Sam and Al Now....

Hey Everyone,

Been a QL fan for a long time. I've posted a few times. I was just watching "Mirror Image" and thinking. (Please forgive me if this has been brought up before)...

But in Mirror Image when Sam changes Al's life...Does that also negate Sam ever meeting Al and ever helping Sam...does that make sense? I dunno..it does in my head.

What I mean is, my telling her that Al was coming home...it might have changed the course of Al's life so that he was never involved in Quantum Leap. And never met and became Sam's friend.

If that is the case, it proves to be an even more meaningful choice. At that point, Sam realized that the Leaps would get harder because Al wouldn't be there anymore. He'd have to figure thing out for himself (but as we witnessed, Sam began to know his reasons for leaping towards the end). So it might have shown how much Sam really loved Al and cherished their friendship that by choosing to set Al's life strait, it would erase their history together.

I dunno, Its a little harder to explain than I thought...but if anyone makes sense of it, please, I'd love to hear your thoughts. And if true, it would majorly affect the upcoming reunion plan.

Thanks for reading,
Laker Jim
