What about us HK people cooking Western Food Chinese style. 'Huck Jiu Ngau Lau' (Black pepper steak) and Law Sung Tong (Russian Broth) and those so called Mak Sai Gor Bau (Mexican Bun). I call those restaurants 'See Yau Sai Charn' (Cooking western food with Soya sauce). What about those 'Yuk Cheung Yee Fun' (Minced meat spaghetti) - Italians would have a great laugh on the melt-in-your-mouth spaghetti. Love those food to death just like a Gweilow loves fried rice and sweet/sour pork.

Yes we do have Indian food here (with nan bread). In fact I had some last Saturday with 3 other Wah Yan boys. The atmosphere here is not the same neither is the beer here compare to a REAL British ale in Britain. By the way, nan bread is NOT a substitute to a good ENGLISH dark ale. You cannot compare apples to oranges.

Lam, have you tried good Mexican food? We have a restaurant here that makes the best fajita in the world. It's cheap and I too can wash it down with beer!!! Yum Yum...may be I should go tonight!

Ding
