Ah Cheuk and Angela, Ho Fu, Ashley Cheng, Daniel Choy, Peter Yu, Chan Ka Yan, Patrick Suen and Sabrina, Elsa Ho and Pillip, Paul Chan and Helen and my family had a great watch-the-World-Cup-Final-together at my place on 30 June.

I think we all had a really good time to witness the samba troop win again (except possibly for Patrick Suen who was weired enough to support Germany that day!!!).

Looking forward to seeing more of you people in future events of the sort.

Yes, we all had a great time.

Unfortunately, it may be many years later before we could meet again like that. The next two world cups will be held in Germany and Africa and so the games will be played early in the morning our time. The same goes for European Championships.

Or perhaps, we could do that again during the next Asian Championship. If the final is China vs Korea or Japan, then it will be quite interesting.

You guys are lucky...I had to crawl out of bed to watch the game at 4:00am and I was one of the weirdos who supported the Germans (I supported them since 1974 when I played football at Wah Yan Siu Hock). Glad World Cup has come and gone - June was tough for my biological clock and watching football in a non football country myself was kind of lonely... :(

I still play as a goaly (since I was at primary 3A2) every now and then...sweet memories these football (I hate the name soccer) as I instantly feel 25 years younger everytime I play or watch. GREAT game.

Yes, I do remember you as goaly. But the thing is who the hell are you playing with in a country where no one plays football. By football I mean football, the Americans have stolen a wrong word for a game that doesn't deserve the name.

You could still consider yourself lucky. At first, I thought they didn't care to broadcast the World Cup in Canada!

Oh! These are rare occasions that I piss about with other folks. By the way, football has come a long way. Kids in Canada are very keen to play now a days. Soccer camps are everywhere.
