I saw the movie earlier tonight. I rate it an 8.5

I never really knew too much about comic book stuff, but I see now that Iron Man/Tony Stark is the Marvel-version of Batman/Bruce Wayne. Where-as Batman fights crime, Iron Man fights Wars.

I was hearing from a few people that this movie was really fucking awesome. Based on what I had seen in previews, I had expected that it would be an "okay" movie, and that since it was a superhero movie, that it was worth seeing, but after seeing it, I am glad to say, it was much better than I had expected.

Here are some of my favorite parts:

- The part right after the Terrorist Leader told him he had until the next day to make the missiles for them. He instead creates the 1st version of his Iron Man suit/armor/weaponry. By the time they find out he's up to something, they go in. During one part, a Terrorist goes to shoot him in the head and the bullet bounces back and he (the Terrorist) himself gets shot in the head. That was fucking hilarious.

- After he comes in and saves the small village from the terrorist invasion, he's able to visually circle the heads of his targets and instantly shoot them, leaving the victims totally safe and unharmed. I was in awe.

- The slightly unexpected ending, where he puts down the cards of the words written that he was supposed to say to the press, and straight up admitted to them "I'm Iron Man." - he lives it, and isn't afraid to let the world know who he is and what he does. It's not like he could hide it so easily anyway, with that light sticking out of his heart.

His suit fucking kicks ass..

This was one of those movies where after the ending credits, you have to wait till that's all over to see another final scene. It included Samuel L. Jackson(as "Nick Fury") inside Iron Man/Tony Stark's living room.

There's definetely gotta be at least one sequel to this movie.

I might actually go to a comic book store this week to go get me some Iron Man comic books, in addition to a few other things.
