I really can't make a case for it logically. But then again I didn't grow up in a logical country and was indoctrinated into a Faith that embraced its lunacy through Its teachings.

And I'll thank Them for that til the day I live this world...whatever dreams may come.

All I can say on the matter (while being completely self-aware of the fact that I've finally got a good job again and even though I don't consider this re-found security to factor in, I know it's the underlying reason; if for nothing other than the state-of-mind not being broke continuously plays one's outlook, not to mention psyche...acknowledging that I'll now move on) is that my dealings with the minorities involved in this endeavor has been extremely positive, if not rewarding.

It's led me to conclude that, if given a chance at the American Dream, people, being inherently good, will not respond with hubris at their newfound status but instead take on a joyful outlook that transcends in all their encounters.

Do they instantly not give a shit about the poor? Of course. And they do adopt a Tony Robbins mentality that they apply to those out there who are not willing to get out there and make it happen; but so what? I guess. It's not like some white dude who worked for Ford through the UAW his whole life in an unskilled position that afforded him a middle class lifestyle that came at the expense of those who didn't have the same access.

But his loss is our loss. This bitter man doesn't know any better. And if he chooses to cling to his faith and his guns who are we to point this out? Are we saying it to him to help him? Some sort of post-modern tough love? Or are we condescendingly rappin' with a bunch of homosexuals who hate this guy as much as the blacks do? Do they have a right to bear this grudge? Of course. But aren't they supposed to better than us? That's not supposed to be as cynical as it probably sounded.

Aren't they supposed to bringing change? Aren't they supposed to win by loving this guy for all his faults and then "there's only one race and that's mankind. We shall be free"? and not be blaming it all on his roots...when showed up in boots? And ruined your black tie minority business affair?

Someday, and I hope this for all our sakes, somebody will come along and put an end to this hierarchal system that always finds the High at odds with a Middle looking to fool the poor into overthrowing the High so that they can become the High and thrust the Low right back where they were when the whole thing began.

Goldstein knew his shit; and do did Daltry and Townsend.

We won't be fooled again.

Yeah...right.

Only Hunter S. Thompson seemed to grasp the truth regarding this atrocity which will play itself out forever based on the path we are headed. Until the victorious forgive their former oppressors and allow an energy of peace, love, and understanding to flow ONCE they are in the position to vanquish their newly politically-inferior foe...our children are going to grow up in a world that makes me understand why so many have given up and don't want to bring a life into this world.

Remember 1987's "Can't Buy Me Love" starring a young Patrick Dempsey? The scene where Kenneth is about to get his ass kicked by the jock because he was tutoring one of the cheerleaders in Math. Dempsey stormed in to break it up before storming back off. The jock apologized. Kenneth accepted it. If you didn't cry, you're part of the problem.

Cry for that white guy out there who no longer has the options he never expected not to. Or dismiss him with the detachment you may or may not realize. Cuz now you got yours or they're not gonna give it you; you have to take it.

Whatever the underlying attitudes inherent in all the disaffected across the land, the greatest joy in America comes as a result of being a proficient liar to one's self...especially when it suits one.

Like when Kevin Spacey told Sean Penn that he was lying to himself and Penn retorted, ""I'm a good liar; and am also very gullible"

All he did was say what we all realized at least once in our lives. How far you follow that is on the individual.

So yes, I do support MBEs and feel good about the opportunity it gives those who never had a shot before. And to those who would say "Nobody gave me nothin'"...I'll offer them the love of Christ...a closet bigot in His Own right.
