I like movies. I like to write. So it's no surprise I enjoy movies about writers. I also like Matt Dillon. A lot. Always have.

He is great in "Factotum" and "Factotum" is a great movie. Most will find it depressing but I enjoyed the slum-like existence Bukowski prides himself on. Furthermore, I think if he wasn't so self-absorbed (he once said that Orwell only got scratched--referring to Down and Out--in comparision to what he went through. Yeah...right.).

I like Bukowski quite a bit but. There's a lot I agree with him on but I've never trusted his written word. Where does reality end and fantasy begin? Secondly, I can gaurentee that he would never conceded that my generation has it far harder than his. Think about when Bukowski was my age. Whites had a definitive edge. That's looong gone (thanks to liberals like Kylopod). I can't even get a job that I want to hate.

Also, I hate the Bukowski-type. I had never heard of him until a little over two years ago when a biker gave me his (very well-written) biography. The Biker guy was cool (and generous with his drugs) but the majority of Bukowski fans are these fucking sorry sad-ass Emo's. The originals but Emo's nonetheless. My girl was familiar with Bukowski because of some dirtbag-hippie she used to date. He didn't listen to the music on the radio. Everything was underground. Ewwww. He's a pussy. Never played sports in High School...sad all the time...never stood up for himself. Mocked those who got into Nirvana and mocked Nirvana.

But guys like me are the bad guys. The violent ones right because we're outspoken. I've never hit a woman. But this kid beat the shit out of my girl. And I'm glad he did. Sound rotten? Don't care. You go where you don't belong and hang around those outside of who WE are...I hope you DIE!!!

Turn your back on me and you will pay the price. I'd beat the FUCK out of Bukowski. And so would Orwell.
