And that's the problem I have with the Obama campaign and particularly his credulous supporters. They now have this air about them that any debate addressing these issues is simply a distraction and they try and conflate it with Brittany. That's the problem with what Jon Stewart did on Crossfire. His power is enormous and his audience are swallowers. Have you ever seen Colbert mock his audience by leading them ironically into chants. They aren't being ironic, even if the most self-aware of them 'think' that they are.

So the mixing of the news and entertainment is already upon us and Obama is winning the primary as a result. Irregardless, I'm still elated to see the nation's youth take such a passionate interest for a change. Furthermore, I relish the possibility that they may be jaded when all is said and done. Don't count Hillary out. Don't count the GOP's ability to race-bait out either.

At the current moment, I am behind Hillary. I like her. I think she's been a tremendous senator and I think her pussy wettens at the sight of legislation. After 8 years of a total moron wouldn't it be nice to see somebody who was in control? Don't we need that? What do we get with Obama? I don't know because he's as nebulous as the cosmos. And his race does matter because that is why so many of the youth are behind him. They've been raised to believe that anything black is cool. Whether I agree with that or not (and you can take a guess at where I do stand on that one) doesn't matter. I'm only implying that that is not enough to make a good candidate nor president. And you can't attack him--as Hillary found out--because he's black. Now, Bill went way over-the-top in South Carolina with his ridiculous statements but they shouldn't have altered the ebb and flow of the election. But it did. Because you can't say anything about a black these days.

Really. Think the GOP and McCain's surrogates will have the same problem when they are addressing a base that agrees with them? Obama's free pass will then come back to haunt him because the Far-Right plays for keeps. Not even Earl Warren can contain them.
