They both centered on women insecure about their appearance, hesitating about a promising relationship after having been burnt by a previous one.

I never picked up on that. But then, I'm not usually interested in symbolism. You know that.

Yeah, she was okay when she was playing cute girlfriends. She lost my respect when she got it in her head that she was Oscar caliber and started doing overacted, pretentious roles with bad British or Dixie accents.
