Wow! Well this is your genre, bro so I expect you to defend it as vigorously as a comic book cashier who scoffs at me when I walk in once a year to buy something that caught my eye. I don't mind that. He's got his niche and here comes some asshole into it.

All I'm saying is I enjoyed a movie I've passed over numerous times OnDemand. I got into it. I have no desire to ever see it again but it killed an hour and a half today.

And it really did reach me emotionally and that doesn't happen very often; yet I admitted that at the same time it was appealing to my emotions I did feel exploited BUT SO WHAT!!!? How many movies come out every year that try and do the exact same thing and fail miserably?

And one thing worth exploring is the racial dynamic involved here. For every villain of a certain race there was a hero. The mastermind villain was Asian; well so was the kickboxer who ended up with the hot girl with the dog. The rapper was a dick but Sam is the one who dealt with him. The white guy threw the dog to the snake yet the kid under FBI protection steps up when he needed to.

I liked the relationship he and Jackson shared. Sam was firm but fair with him and as a result the kid listened to what he had to say...yet he zinged him at the end.

Didn't you feel good when the rapper apologized to everybody and started doing his part to save people and even giving his boy he'd been abusing for the whole movie his shot at glory???
