Why would Bill Maher RUTHLESSLY attack John Cougar Mellencamp? Shit, we were all thinking about his flag-waving days but fucking Maher, FUCKING MAHER, nails him on it.

My stomach hurts from laughing so much. It was quite brilliant and is worthy of an in-depth analysis (Does Maher always allow liberal Pols on so that their unchecked Talking Points can keep him on target? The senator from Alaska served no deeper purpose than Ed MacMahon).

Albert Brooks' movie about taking his comedy to the Muslim world was great. I've gotta run but the movie did make me feel guilty and Brooks tries (and fails) to spin this sentiment at the end.
