Thanks for your comments, but competition is not what drives me. I certainly would not compete against JB for a puppy placement, never have, ask him. I don’t have a competitive streak in me, and I find purely commercial dog endeavors distasteful. I am currently standing five studs to my own females and nearly all of my placements are to repeat customers or referrals from customers...word of mouth. I never need to advertise, and I never have enough pups to meet the demand. I certainly don’t show up on a Boerboel message board trying to promote a sale. I have all I can handle just minding my own biz, but when someone misrepresents a dog I have produced, or tries to throw crap on one of my friends, I don’t mind speaking up.

Tashi is not now, nor will she ever be competition for me. It sounds like she got off to a poor start, a late start, and is now headed in the wrong direction. Not my concern, but I wish she would quit being the moral compass for JB’s board...given the choices she has made.

Lee, you are a dog guy...help me with this; Of all the Boerboel web-sites representing all the new Boerboel breeders that have sprang up in the last couple years...and of all the breeding age Boerboels cranking out $1500.00+ pups currently in the U.S., why are there still only he same handful of people talking on these boards?? You KNOW there are a LOT of people out there with dogs...why are they not talking with us?? I’ll tell you what they tell me; These new people, some with loads of dog experience, do not want to get bullied around or beleaguered by some clique for not bowing to their whims. Who can blame them. Makes the message board a poor place to compete...unless you are trying to sell a pup to one of the other nine regulars...


So, Lee, thanks again for your comments and kind words, but trust me, I am not showing up here on this board at this time to compete with anyone...just keeping the record straight.
