Subject: First Annual Paul Cipparone Working Dog Seminar, SW Pennsylvania

We just concluded the first annual Paul Cipparone Working Dog Seminar held in Southwestern Pennsylvania. We learned tons of new material for training working dogs, new techniques, and problem solving. Plus, we had a blast! Paul has over 30+ years of experience training dogs, and the wealth of information that we received this weekend was nearly overwhelming. To give you an idea of the material we covered, I have 19 pages of notes!

Sadly, I was the only person participating with Boerboels. In addition to my 2 Boerboels, there were 2 Cane Corsos, 1 Dogo, 1 Belgian Laekenois, 2 Mals and 2 GSD's. Jaf was the youngest dog participating for the full 3 days.

This will be a yearly event, and it will be limited to 10-12 working dogs. All participants enthusiastically agreed that they learned more at this seminar than any other seminar they have attended. One of the reasons is that Paul applied practical solutions to all training challenges. He has a ton of knowledge up his sleeve!

We worked on tracking, obedience, protection work, and various aspects of Schutzhund and Ringsport. It was an intensive 3 days, we learned a lot, and we had fun! I'm not ready to tackle the Brevet with my dogs, but watch our for next year! LOL!!

Paul, you are awesome! Thank you so much for helping me and coaching me through some of my "rookie" mistakes. We will see if I can break some of my bad habits for next year! I have my notes, and I will review them often. Thanks, again! :)
