No hatin' here. You have obviously never seen a BB fight. I have owned several pits in the past, and I like them a lot. Nice, sweet dogs with a lot of attitude. But they are no match for a BB in fight drive. Not even close. You don't want to witness a BB fight.

With this particular incident, I had my video camera with me. I was happy to get some footage that I thought people might be interested in. If you don't like it, don't watch. This female is super friendly with people and dogs, and she has a very long fuse. I think she jumped into the woods hoping for a good chase. If the coon would have run up a tree he would still be alive today. There were lots of trees around, so I guess he bit off a bit more than he could chew. Stupid coon. It's not like she cornered him.

There is a popular video on YouTube produced by National Geographic that measures bite pressure in dogs. It's interesting that the pit had the lowest bite pressure -- a bit lower than the GSD. The Rott was higher than both, and the mastiff was much higher than all of them.
