Hi Sharon,

Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, I wouldn't even know how to go about getting the dog back to the breeder because they are completely non-responsive. Interestingly enough, I paid the $500 deposit (plus shipping) for the pup, and the breeder hasn't even contacted me for the balance due on the dog.

Part of my frustration is that I know this breeder has provided a lot of good dogs to a lot of people (I was out there and saw some really great dogs), and I don't understand if he is such a good, reputable breeder, why we are going through this. I try not to take things in life personally, but this feels personal, and as far as I know I have done nothing but be professional and courteous with this breeder...and that's all I would ask in return.

I do agree with your initial suggestion though and feel if there was a problem with this second dog, the breeder should have just offered to take the dog back and return my money.

I am still hoping to hear from him and come to some kind of resolution...until then, I will do my best to continue to work on socialization and see if we can get this dogs problems under control before it's too late.

Thanks,

Joe
