l agree with Lucinda , that a good boerboel would do just as well as what you would try to create. As would many other straight breeds. Also as most of them including the BB were just mixes at one stage anyway , you are just reinventing some wheel.

The downside to most mixes eg the one you put forward, is the amount of testing and culling that would have to go on before you have what you think it should produce.

Suppose you get the APBT size and trust of humans, the speed of the Caucasian, etc etc, you see it is not written that in a cross you just get the "things you want" but if you are prepared to do many crosses and do much testing and culling , and you start with the right representatives, bam...30 or 40 yrs , you have what you want !!!!
