from a Neo or a Cane Corso recently; I'm suggesting that the colour has passed along without anyone particularly noticing and thus can have originated further back. If I showed you those dogs pics in b/w; you wouldn't be able to tell if a dog was blue or not. That was my point. As to what is in the background of the Boerboel; I'll leave it to historians to deal with that.
