Sara, that is interesting. I did not know that draft horses conformation was that much different, other than the bone size. I have never owned a draft horse, so I really don't know that much about them. A few people I know who I have foxhunted with have some draft crosses in the hunt field. Other than that, my knowledge of drafts is pretty limited. One of my neighbors used to breed and compete pulling ponies. He has since passed on and they sold the farm. I can't remember much about the pulling ponies' conformation, but I seem to recall they looked like regular ponies. My memory isn't that great though, since I never really paid much attention to them. I did see them pull at the local fair once or twice.
