Maybe it's my cynical nature, but that just sounds to me like a marketing ploy to sell more dog food.
If you're going to feed kibble find a good quality food (based on third-party test results)that your dog does well on and stick with it. Don't trust the manufacturers' websites to point out the pluses and minuses for their own products. They'll tell you they have no minuses.
I have on many occasions been inside the factory where they process meats for pet food and I can tell you from that that I won't ever feed my dogs kibble again, even if I didn't have access to all the free stuff I do now.
