Thats about what I do, but I cook vegatables, rice, and do all their suppliments at night with raw diet, It takes at least 8 hours to digest kibble so our feeding times are on a strict schedule as well (kibble A.M and raw p.m), I don't feed in buckets but in the big metal bowls which are washed every night cus they can attract flies with the raw diet, if any residue left on. My dogs also have buckets of fresh water given daily and off the ground, I leave water out 24/7 and put electrolites in the water during the hot months...I find it keeps them hydrated, especially puppies.
