I am not mistaking causation for treatment. If you have a dog that has bloated, regardless of the cause, you must tack the stomach to decrease the chance of recurrence. If performed by a board certified vet surgeon chances are 94% that the dog will not bloat again. All surgery involves an anatomical structure(s) of some kind.

By extension from wolf-hybrid rescue operations and also from what wolves eat in zoos, wolves tolerate kibble of most kinds. In creation and propagation of dog breeds we have bred away from the dietary adaptability that wolves enjoy. In the case of wolf-hybrids in rescue they often consume donated dog food, with consequent frequent, sometimes daily, changes in diet which would sicken most dogs.
