Hello Michelle,

I would first like to say that I am sorry to hear about your mother's passing.

Your story is very interesting. However, as you already seem to know, you must first rule out the possibility of a natural cause for the crosses falling.

If it was indeed your mothers spirit, I am sure you have nothing to fear. I mean, after all, it's Mom. She may have just wanted to say hello or do something to get you to notice she is still around. There is no real way to say for sure what she was doing there or what she wanted. That is nearly impossible to do. Unless of course you saw her with your own eyes and she told you what she wanted and why she was there.

In your post you had said that you wondered is she was waiting to go to heaven (or something similar). My question is: "who's to say there even is a heaven?". Also, who's to say that they can't come back to visit if there is? These are just some of the many questions that many of us have but will probably never get the answers to until we too pass on.

I hope I was able to help you somewhat. If not, I am sorry. But, as I mentioned above, I do not believe you need to fear your mother's spirit. And this is all providing it was even her who was responsible for the moving of the cross. There pretty much is no real way to say for sure who or what exactly caused it to fall. Especially since you were unable to witness it with your own eyes.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to write.

Sharon
