Cordelia wasn't really Cordelia when she slept with Connor, she was possessed by that Jasmine person inside her. Cordelia came back from the higher plane and wasn't Cordelia anymore, she was something else. I think Angel and Cordelia would make a better couple than Buffy and Angel, because Cordelia and Angel had a really deep friendship that grew into a great love and understanding for each other. Also, Buffy was supposedly just like Cordelia at her first highschool before she became the slayer, so its not like Buffy is better than Cordelia.(Buffy even made a reference to herself as Spordelia before she became the slayer.)

Right then you saw that he loves Cordy so much. In Season 4, when He saw Cordy and Connor making love he was so hurt. I think that he still loves buffy but I think he is in love with Cordelia
