Tonight is the big night. Hope we blast the Blitz. One thing this team is missing is a fan club. I'm very willing to help as much as I can but there needs to be a core of fans willing to get it off the ground. The team tried to get one started but, from what I hear, it took a back seat to getting season #2 rolling. Plus, I think it's better to have the fan club independent from the team. We can organize the bus trips to Bakersfield, have a team/fan club BBQ and other events. Anyone interested send a post here, but I also recommend calling the Riptide (1-866-RIPTIDE) and ask for either Andy (PR director) or Gil (owner). We have a great team that needs support. In fact, I feel with our current roster, we should be one of the favorites to win this league and I think we can.

hey good idea, i checked into this and was going to coordinate it with riptidefan.com last season but the team was organizing a fanclub which i would work with and help to get going. ill talk to andy and gil and see where they want to go with this. they are talking about a bus trip for may, probably the 31st. stay tuned for details on the tide site and on riptidefan.com......it would be great to get tailgates going for the fans and build up interest....we need to get the support up and fans there...
