I am not going to sit here and bash one or the other, I own both an 03 cobra and and 01 Z28. Now while the Z28 doesnt even stand a chance, a coworker of mine who owns a 2002 SS (35th anniversary ed.) raced me recently. The SS is a nice car, it cant compete with the 03 Cobra in its stock form. I take it the SS can also outrun the Z06, funny how they make the cheaper SS outrun the Vette and hang with the Z06... hmmmm..... If you happen to get a Z06 you can hang with a 03 Cobra, but dont count on getting in front of it.
