as the owner of an after recal 99svt cobra there are several things you have to look at. 1..an extra fifty horses or couple hundred pounds of weight isn't going to win you a race against someone who knows how to drive. 2..i toy around with f-body cars all day on the local interstates and highways because of all the junk the add to their cars ie: huge stereos, 20inch wheels, crap suspensions lowerings that make you wiggle off the line. 3..when it comes to more is better 4v's is always better than 2v's. clear up a little airflow and the svt will eat non-z06 vettes and all gm stuff until the cows come home. either way, enjoy your ride and drive it like it is meant to be driven. i use all 6800 rpms before my redline!
