Hi, my boyfriend brought home a yellow shafted flicker from work today... i dont know if it is sick or hurt. it seems to fly fine but doesnt get scared by people, it likes to be pet apparently too... is it advisable to keep this bird as a pet? it was all alone and definately far away from home, they are native to the rockies i believe and we are in north eastern pa thanks for the help!
