a) I think that if there was a first contact situation with the rebels everything would go smoothly, where as with the empire to qoute dennis leary's CD Title: "Lock and Load." We know that it takes a great deal of power to vaporize an asteroid (as seen in ESB) would take more then 4.6 million watts which is what nearly brought down the Enterprise D's shields in the TNG Episode Unnatural Selection. A couple of turbo laser shots would be enough to finish them off.

c) I would much rather be marooned with a Trek character because they always bring everything they need to survive. Where as star wars characters always seem to be stuggling.

b) Wow the battle lasted for more then a few hours. The empire sucks if that's all it lasted. I figured two hours would be enough for the empire to take over the galaxy.
