I must agree with bob for two reasons. Like he said it was researched from canon material. Also all of the shows and movies aren't going to change, so any information based, or taken from them cannot be later challanged by a episode of say Deep Space Nine. Although we have ENTERPRISE, and Star Trek Nemesis that could invalidate them. Which I doubt, but we simply will have to wait and see. But the information in the book is well thought out and it is really nice to look at. I use it in my rpg. Oh by the way I made a mistake the Mutara Sector, and Ceti Alpha star system are some 350 light-years from earth. So for the Enterprise to get there in a matter of hours was no small feat. But one within reason using the Cochrane constant, and my warpdrive multipliers.
