Or we could have one of those nasty little things that plauges even the best of Sci-fis, that would be an inconsistancy.

We have an example of at least hundreds of megatons yeild TLs, this comes from the fire from the Hapan Nova criusers causing veritble mushroom clouds of yoric coral vapor and fire erupting with turbolaser impacts on a Yuzhan Vong super battleship (not quite a world ship, but far larger than an ISD).
