If our society is bad dan, then so are the people living in that society, so according to your theory, machiavelli is right...at the moment atleast. If you want to change and rebuild society, you would have to destroy everything. Modern society is dictated to us by what our leaders and people we look up to decide. We cannot change society at the moment because we are held down by chains. Chains which we put there ourselves, chains such as basically everything we hold dear including our current culture, materials, religion, and the like. Your views dictate that change is possible, but where can these changes be found!? Our society as a whole has only gotten worse over the last 100 years, as we have invented more and more ways to destroy ourselves. The problem is not large corporations ruling everything, but the fact that we cannot break lose from them, and the chains they have placed on our lifes. You pose a good argument about economy being the main problem, and yet with economy we also see power hungry people behind the machine. Someone must run the machine my good man, and that someone is us, the people. So essenttially you agrred with me without even knowing it. Spited dan, i think you will now understand that your views ie in with mine
