Quittner... you seem to be saying that being well fed gives people the right to have babies. I dont know how else to interprite "In my view NO babies at all should be conceived in famine areas, nor where there are too many people already with too few jobs, where there is bound to be a lot of misery at times." Please tell me if i misunderstood. If i understand you correctly... i dont know what to say besides i think you are simply an idiot. There is an obvious solution to that, education. Its soo simple, the more educated a person is, the less likely they are to bear loads and loads of children. Problem is we don?t spend any money trying to educate people in Africa or any other area of the world that has huge problems with overpopulation. All we have to do is pay people to teach or pay people there to teach, to start educational programs? at least to talk with their governments on the least we could do to help. The money would go a lot further there than in Afghanistan killing civilians with very high-tech bombs. All we have to do is help them understand that the overpopulation they are experiencing is not helping them. An education can never hurt. Maybe you would suggest a cap on the number of babies that can be born to a certain person? Oh wait, they do that in China now, and half of the babies are killed because they are female, and who wants a female baby? But thats getting off-topic. HAHA, to say that feeding people could somehow turn them into hateful people... or that you could use that as an excuse not to feed them, makes you sound like a total nazi. Maybe you are, and your entitled to be. But you guys dont exactly have a reputation for being very loving, or as you would call it "good" people yourselves. And what the fuck are you talking about when you say babies shouldn?t be born when there is a lot of "misery at times." First of all, that COULD be anywhere, second, who decides where those places are or how to define them, third, do you honestly want to tell people they cant have babies cuz they live in a poor country, and fourth what the hell is wrong with you?
