Subject: In contrast to Bretts Post

I agree w/ you that 'gay' shouldn't mean bad... but not all homosexuals are truely gay. The word "gay" used to mean happy, not homosexual, which just goes to show that the english language is everchanging. A word that used to mean happiness and joy, now has evolved into a word that means bad, or stupid. Everyone has the right to say what they want, its our first ammendment, and when i say that something is gay, i mean no offence to homos what so ever, and usually has no refference to the homosexual lifestyle.
Take the word Jackass. It litterally means donkey, but when you call someone a jackass, you're telling them how stupid they are, not that they're a donkey. It has 2 meanings, which is whats happening to the word "gay". Or the word Ass. If i say "i pounded a girl in her ass" i don't mean i hit her donkey.
Some words have 2 meanings, and though one may be degrating, everyone has the right to say what they want.
