Head's up EVERYONE. IoN isn't kidding about going competitive anymore. We're forming a competitive squad and all member's must tryout for it. Those who work best as a team will get in. There can be more than 10 in the squad, but of course only 10 can play in a single match. Those who do not wish to join this squad or do not make the cut are not out of the tribe by any means. They still need to come to pracs etc. If you think this is unfair or stupid or whatever, send your grievances to me personally- whining in public will not be tolerated. Should you make the competitive squad you will be held to a higher standard. You get to play in matches and make recruiting decisions on the spot, but you have to be more dedicated than any of us has been before. Basically you need to come to every practice. Three hours a week- that's really all that's being asked of you. Thanks

wow! i have alot to say so listen up. first off i htink its a good idea. but it will take work. i think we should not use all the members we have for this squad. i think only the most elite should be on it(personnaly maybe not even me) i think even though mems dont make this competitive squad they should stay with IoN there time will come. the most important thing with this team for me is to learn. im not here to win 50 matches, im here to learn how to win 50 matches. with that in mind i think mems should be happy that there in IoN and keep showing up at practice. i think mems on the competitve squad should have a good personality (not a brick) good skills of courceget along with the team and not starrt shit. i think there should be a number of practices u mst have to join the team. there should be on practice a week for jus the competitive team to work on there things. as for practices i think we should use saturdays practice as a recruitment n work on tuesday n thursday. well that bout it...lata

Hmm... yeah i think that is a good idea too. First of all a tribe team must be like a football team, u need plenty of replacements. So far having just enough members hasn't worked out... as if it hasn't been obvious ppl quit, get kicked, are unable to make prac... etc. Having more than enough ppl like we did at one time was no good either, who wants to be on a tribe they can't play on... at least thats what i was told (of course by ppl who are no longer w/ us). A possible solution to our delima is to create two teams consisting of 10 mem each, for those of u who are mathematically challenged thats 20 ppl in the tribe(more than enough).

PROs
1) We have a source of "second string" players for matches etc. where we can easily find replacements.
2) Only one team will be active in the ladder but the other in it's own way will function like a seperate tribe(non-ladder though), they can scrim all they want. This should give ppl there chance to "play".
3) On top of this we will have enough ppl to make up two seperate teams at prac.

Some pretty big PROs

CONs
1) The team as i mentioned is non-ladder this could be a turn off to ppl who don't make the real team by a sliver.
2) PPL may be discouraged when they find it is difficult to climb into the competetive team.

There are prolly more PROs and CONs but i am trying to make this as short as possible. My proposal is to have one team w/ the tag ^IoN^ (ladder) and another w/ ^IoNr^* (reserve)

PS: Raid if u'd like to improve your skill i can send u some demos of tribes matches for u to see what they are like.

*^IoNr^ <=== was not my idea for the tag basically it can be anything we want.

tonight i was reading what u said n thought to myself....first of all the recruit thing makes the members with the IoNr tag look bad... id never wear one of those if it was up to me =) we could do two teams of competitive members.....for small easier matches we could use either team with one of the replacements from the otehr team if a replacememnt is needed...although the problem comes to big matches when u want the best members from both teams. .... members will not have chemistry with people not on there competitive team. on a another note= today i head that ^IoN^ is kicking pretty much everyone n started over with only about 3 members... i heard it through sckyline who heard it from MAG. i started cracking up i figured there could be a thread of truth in it..... if theres its its some fucked up bullshit n ull hear words froem me (u always do) now as for the demos sun please send them or put them on the dl section of the site. ive dedicated sunday to jus learnin routes.... i didnt wanna say this but ive never been n a real match for ctf anyway... scrimms.. and others like arena n all but never ctf matches..i will learn though i promise give me time ill be productive to this team....

Heh. I don't have demos. No we haven't kicked all but 3 mems. But consider the fact that both of those sources left/were kicked from the tribe ;)

I'm a little confused about sky. If he wants to stay I said he could. Last i talked to him, he even said he was going to work w/ Raid specifically. But if he's spreading rumors. Well that's his perogative, and his problem
